I had the failure to fire issue with my P938 that was purchased new about 3 years ago. At first the gun shot great, but then the issue slowly developed and towards the end it would fail to fire every 5-10 rounds or so. I suspect it was due to the safety disconnect. Sig did not issue a recall notice to P938 owners; instead they just referred to it as a “product improvement”. (Even though it was designed to fix an actual failure mode involving the Sear Spring). I think they claimed it was an intermittent problem, even though it involved redesigning the MSH hardware part.
