New member here and looking to buy a 2020 1500. Currently have an F-150 Lariat, but was overwhelmingly impressed with how RAM has improved in the past few years. Handsome exteriors with the best interior fit & finish I've seen in any truck, ever. Joined the forum in hopes of getting real world comments and advice from owners.

The heater block plug is under the hood (facing the truck) near the back left fender well by the coolant tank. It uses a standard grounded extension cord to connect.Dodge Ram 1500. The 8 speed trans on these is smooth as silk and is paired nicely with the 3.0L. 70 mph is roughly 2000 rpm in high gear. I highly recommend it in a light use 1/2 ton.

2015. Engine. 3.0 Eco diesel. I have a 2015 ram 1500 with 3.0L ecodiesel. I think I have a problem with my EGR valve. For some months ago, my intake cought fire. It was repaired, and now my truck wont go right. When I idle, max rpm I get when i press the throttle to the bottom is about 2800 rpm. It also has little power when I drive. That's it. GM put the 350 olds into their cars and pickups to boost fuel mileage and it worked.
