Underworld was a war offense team. Defense is different. Defense teams are just suckering us into spending resources for the sole purpose of making other players buy new characters. They WANT defense teams that kick in everyone's dick, it's why they are always generous, including "accidentally" giving out a ton of free shards like Hero Asgardians.

Even with Dormmamu most defenses are only slightly annoying to deal with. For example, vs an Eternals team you can add Emma to make your team go first (assuming enemy team doesn't have Emma). Just focus on Emma and don't bother leveling the rest of the Marauders unless you have a surplus of resources.
