Won this upper in a giveaway during covid. I'm fully disclosing it was labeled as a genuine colt a1 upper and from what I can tell it is, but I am not 100% sure beyond a doubt. Just want to be fully transparent. That said, started this project and just haven't got around to finishing it. It needs a front sight post (pictured)

After 8 years in the military and 12 years as a cop I've had, been issued, used, shot lots of different uppers, lowers and complete rifles of countless brands and several manufacturers. Out of the box, after an initial cleaning and about 100 slow, controlled rounds this BCM upper has produced the best groups at 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards by far.This guide is specific to factory original Colt 603 barreled uppers. These are using .625 Government barrel with a 1/7 twist. The pencil barrel is made of 41V50 steel, and the barrel is chrome lined.
