Honda accord whining noise when accelerating.
Jun 30, 2015 · My 2010 Accord has approx 90k and just recently started making a 'dirtbike'. sound when accelerating. I know it's a 'typical' noise most older hondas make but mine. isnt that old. It only happens at around 2500 rpm. Any ideas you could throw my way. would be helpful.

If I'm parked, I can put it in neutral, rev it and get no abnormal sounds. As I said, it only comes on when in DRIVE and under acceleration. You can really hear it from about 10-40 mph ...
