Dec 14, 2021 · Ever since I got the aquatics pack my game crashes every time I try to start a new game. I can boot up the game just fine, and select or customize my species, but when I try to start a game from the game customization screen the entire game quits to my desktop. A dialog box comes up asking what happened at the time of my crash each and every time.

My screen goes black, music turns off, system fans max, and the power button doesn't work. The only way to shut down is to unplug the power supply or flip the switch. One fix is to add -opengl at startup args. If you get red dots/lines after opengl turn off anisotropic filtering at GPU control.
