The % of traders trading futures through NT and Tradovate is much smaller than those who might use Tradingview to watch stocks, and crypto for example. Also, if you want live futures data on Tradingview, it is not free, the data is delayed otherwise.

Dip your toes with tradovate as it offers a really low barrier to entry and has a lot of features for being browser based. You can move into a paid platform after you've developed and refined a winning strategy. This is the route I took and currently on ninjatrader with lifetime for lower commissions.
