Personally, ZBrush is the only other tool that I use outside of Blender in the actual 3D phase. Blender doesn't match ZBrush's capabilities, that's a simple fact. If you want to be an all round generalist, you'll likely need ZBrush's ability to have incredibly high poly models and sculpt on them in as close to real time as possible.
