I also bought a separate 14.5" barrel conversion kit recently, but that barrel is tapered at the end.The reason for this is because the picatinny section on the Rattler is shorter than the Virtus. Sig has two Rattler 5.56 uppers currently in stock on their site. FWIW, the Rattler 5.56 muzzle device can NOT be removed. Something to consider if you're thinking of running it suppressed.
