This was fixed by contacting kel-tec. They sent me 2 new bolt catches for free and claimed I had an older catch made of a weaker material. This was replaced with a small flathead under 5 minutes. The OEM feed ramp is plastic and will ablate away especially with hollow points. If you are getting the mag latch from MCARBO go ahead and do the feed ramp at the same time as the grip is a bit of a pain to put back together so best to deal with it once IMO.
