47 posts · Joined 2010. #1 · Jan 5, 2017. Hi Friends, I have a 2016 Coupe EX-L CVT with ~18,000 miles. Recently I noticed a slight shudder while accelerating at 40-50 mph. I mostly notice this while sitting in traffic. The symptom occurs when I completely remove my foot from the accelerator and reapply pressure.Have about 6000 miles on my 2013 accord 4cyl with CVT. Problem with jerking at low speeds getting worse. Need to take to dealer but thats such a pain. Very disappointed i paid extra to ge a Honda and have issues already. Hopefully their service will be as good as their rep is.

Every light on the dashboard went on and the car wouldn't drive but the engine ran fine. Honda said the same thing - bad sensor because of metal debris in the transmission. It's a 2016 with 55k miles on it and so out of warrantee. They said it would be $6200 to fix.
