On the FN made StG 58 and the G-1, the rake doesn't aligns perfectly with the non-humpback stock. It is believed that the first 20,000 or so StG 58s were made by FN. So to tell the difference between a FN made StG 58 and a FN made G-1, you have to look at the date code.
