Nope if you dismantle you won't get the shader. It works like the past seasons flawless chest shaders. It's more like a trophy for the armor or weapon it's on. I dismantled gauntlets and didn't get it. Still have it on my Sola's Scar. But I had it pop up in collections if I recall previous shaders did not.

Pretty sure almost all the older Crucible shaders are available now as drops. I got so many shaders from crucible yesterday (i have 12 out of 14 of the crucible shaders) but ive been playing since this morning and i havent gotten the last two (ive played at least 30 games)
