6/9/2023; I bought this modem to replace an older CL modem that didn't have great Wi-Fi range. This modem works great. Except that every 2–7 days at any random time the modem automatically resets itself to the default factory settings. Typical that it took us longer than 30 days to figure out it was our faulty "brand new" modem.

We just upgraded to fiber optics and when we got that installed the technician brought a modem (C3000A). Everything is working fine but centurylink also sent us the C4000xg modem.
