Mint is based on T-Mobile so the load on their network makes a difference - where I am it performs better than Visible because there are fewer T-Mo customers but your mileage will vary based on location. Mint is QCI 7 on T-Mo which is 1 step above permanently deprioritized (QCI 8) but below postpaid Magenta plans & prepaid (QCI 6)But Verizon itself rejects this same IMEI, as does everybody else I've checked. This device didn't come from and wasn't sold by Visible. It was sold direct unlocked from Samsung as far as I can tell. It wasn't another model reflashed with the U1 firmware. It's a real U1. Mint has better speed most of the time. Visible can be a hit or miss regarding internet speed, for me visible works 98% of the time with a good speed but the remaining 2% is very slow (<128kbps). You can also try Boom Mobile Blue if you are looking for ATT 5gb annual plan. That's $20 a month but it has free roaming in Mexico and Canada.Joining a Visible part brings your bill down to $25/month, referrals get it down to $5/month. Basically your getting 40 months (3+ yrs)of service for free! It uses VZ's network which I was using anyways but paying $50+ a month. Visible base plan is worth the money if you’re just looking for sheer amount of data due to it being unlimited. Visible plus in my opinion isn’t worth the extra money. I used it for a while and changed to the base plan. I didn’t see any noticeable difference but ymmv. Alwayslikelove.
