IMO amboss is a harder q bank than UW so an 80% average on it is very good. I would expect you to do well on step 1 but since amboss step 1 qbank is quite new idk how it correlates with a step 1 score. Do an NBME or UW qbank to better see where you are at. You need to get 65% of the 200 questions that are scored correct. Hypothetically, let's say you got all 80 experimental questions wrong and got 130 of the remaining 200 correct. You would pass the exam despite only getting 46.4% of the question pool correct (130/280). Likewise, let's say you got 182 questions correct out of 280. an average score of 60% on every block you do...there will be some fluctuation as some blocks you will score lower but those are the ones you need to review the most. Anyways, I got my score back and it translated to around 205-210. I was fairly happy with that since I haven't actually started any kind of major test prep other than sporadic qbank questions and anki use during each of my modules. I plan to use Zanki + Qbank much more consistently for this semester up until I take Step 1 in in May.
