The RAV4 interior is a lot more "basic" than the CR-V. It's well done and it looks decent, but it's far from the luxury look of the CR-V. It has more space inside, at least visually speaking, I didn't measure anything. The visibility is much better and the transmission is so, so much better than the Honda.

The CX-5 AWD system seems to work better. Interior Feel- Again, not much to say, the CX-5 is much nicer inside in most respects, it just feels so much nicer, the Rav4 felt flimsy inside. Hello. I am highly considering buying this 2011 rav 4 limited v6. It has a pretty high price on it given it’s age ($16,500) but in my area that’s average right now. It has only 106k miles and has had 1 owner with a clean car fax. He’s not really willing to go lower on the price and in my area for an older car the interest is like 10% but ... I would say the upgrade from a gas to a hybrid is about 50% better, and from the hybrid to the prime, about a 15-20% upgrade. At least, that's how it feels to me. Plus, the hybrid can be financially justified over the gas. The prime is a stretch. However, if the price (dealer quote) of the hybrid is within 1-5k from the prime, definitely ... Biggest issues for the rav4 is the road noise and loud cabin and outdated interior. That said, the hybrid is quieter than the gas model. Kia Sportage on paper is great. Nice interior, up to date tech, quiet cabin, and spacious. Between the two, I’d go with rav4.

RAV4 mpg combined was around 40. Camry mpg combined is around 48. Road and wind noise on the Camry are much quieter. Comfort on Camry is much higher. I’d rather have a Camry for a road trip. I also enjoy the sporty look with paddle shifters (useless for hybrid) on the SE Camry. Brand new the Camry was $27k+++ and the RAV4 was $32k+++.

The Camry’s suspension was super loose, like driving a trampoline at times which was super comfortable. The RAV4’s suspension is definitely more rigid but tbh I don’t really notice it as much as I thought I would coming from the Camry. Other than the suspension, the steering on the Rav4 is really smooth and it takes corners like a champ.
