Part 2 to the g19 p80 build putting the slide together ran into a couple issues nothing major but just bare with me I’m just a beginner and only gonna get be...I did a P80 compact build. I used an Exacto saw for the recoil spring area. I used the wife's Emory set for the file work. It flexes and doesn't scratch other areas. I had to file quite a bit on the rear rail to get it to clear the trigger bar. It shoots really well. Looking forward to the next build.Anyone who builds a P80 to save money over a factory Glock is kidding him/herself. You build P80s for fun, the challenge, pride, geeking out, knowing the gun inside and out, customization, etc. Definitely NOT to "save money." First possible cause, the trigger bar has a bur at the trigger bar and connector interface. Remedy is to remove the trigger bar and inspect. If you find one, I recommend replacing the entire bar, as its quick and done with OEM trigger bars being cheap (to me, at least).
