Without the raw infusion and scaling of B/D I get an AR of 210+127 (337), and considering you'll have 10 ...when i watch no hit runs people usually use rapier and deal tons of damage. Is rapier class that OP or is it just the rapier that is that strong coz i do like Estocs range. P.S. what is the most OP pve weapon in your opinioni have 60/36 int\fth with 16/16 str/dex and i've been using the rapier/estoc like crazy. I used the enchanted my rapier, and honestly the damage increase as been pretty nice, but it's almost the same. maybe at most, 50-100ish damage more per stab. I really can't tell if this is even worth it. I dont plan on doing a magic/dark enchant though ...

Estoc has my favourite strong attack in the game, is reasonably powerful, quite quick, is quite long, and has all the utility that the thrusting swords have. Balder side sword is probably slightly better, but I think the estoc is more fun and the blocking attack can really help in a bind. To me they're about even.

On a pyro build i would recommend it in offhand, because some pyromancies combo with estoc light attack. Leo ring's not worth it though. It only increases physical damage, and you're probably infusing it with dark or chaos. I think honestly that the estoc is better, however you can parry with the rapier in the offhand.As to how you get good damage out of the estoc, you will want to get it to +15 which increases the dex scaling to B. If it's not obvious from that, Thrust is spears, estoc, rapier and such. Slash is most swords, daggers curved swords ultra greatswords etc. And Strike is blunt weapons. Scaled and plated armor always have higher resistances against slash damage than other (physical) resistances as compared to other armors.
