Actually, those codes (p2121 & p2271) don't exist. They must be B2121 and B2271, both of which are BCM codes. B2121 is "starter output open and B2271 is "BCM voltage low". You either have a bad BCM or a wiring problem between the BCM and the starter. Since you checked voltage at pin L2 on the BCM to be low, that seems to be the place to start.
