I've been researching the same thing for my 2013 Jetta Sportwagen. You will need a delete kit and also a tune. One of the thing the tune does is tell the car to stop trying to initiate regens to clean the DPF, which will give you good fuel mileage gains. I'm looking at Rawtek, they sell both the parts and the Malone tune.
