If you click on Build version number the welcoming screen with offline progress should be displayed. Maybe you forgot to kill anything in adventure mode after reset before turning off your game so your income was 0. Augments and time machine require gold to progress, so if your income was 0 you couldn't gain anything.What drew me in the most was all the really cool and different gear that you can get. Normal mode gear is pretty meh, but evil and sad have more features so more types of gear, and they stuff is just overall cooler looking. Worst part is questing, challenges, guff runs (though I haven't needed to do that yet, but I know what they entail).
