My program required us to do MKSAP & was very particular about ITEs where I consistently didn’t meet expectations (my 3rd year ITE was 52%ile while my class was on average >92%ile). I didn’t study in June (relaxing after residency), July / early August (working/ moving / procrastination).Studying for the ABIM exam; first time certification. During IM training and fellowship I scored below 15% every year except my third year of residency when I was in the 30th percentile because I had intermittently done MKSAP questions. I ended up comfortably passing the actual IM boards and subspecialty boards in the 50th+ percentile when I actually dedicated myself to studying.ANKI Deck for ABIM, MKSAP and UWorld for ABIM. I think it would make all of our lives easier if we collaborated to create a comprehensive ANKi deck from MKSAP board basics, UWORLD for ABIM.
