Jun 16, 2023 · Lawn mowers, like the Cub Cadet LT lawn tractor, use a 5-point blade mount, whereas the Toro Timemaster walk-behind uses a two-pin washer to ensure the blades are positioned correctly. Now, if you forget to install the two-pin washer on your Toro Timemaster, there will be nothing to keep the blades correctly timed.
Running two sets of toro 20122p high lift blades. I have a set of toro 20120p on order and a set of gator g5 594-601 blades on order. I will experiment with various combinations. I know the 20122p doubles cut clean, bag well and mulch good. I bought a Toro Timemaster 30 mower a few weeks back. Many of you suggested that I raise the RPMs to 3600. So I did and it made a big difference. Before if you engaged the blade too fast, it would stall the engine. The mower also cuts tall grass easier, and leaves a better cut. The engine speed with out the blade engaged is 3600-3630 RPM.
