The summit of Mount Bigelow is pretty unimpressive - lots of towers and metal buildings and equipment, and no great views. We took a side jaunt on to butterfly trail which does have very nice views. Do note that after passing the junction with butterfly trail there is going to be a sharp right at a large rock which is very easy to miss. Perched atop the 8,550-foot summit of Mount Bigelow are four enormous transmission towers with lights on top — presumably to make them visible to aircraft.
