In initial brightness, I believe the edge goes to the Seiko. But after 7 hours of sleep (or thereabouts), the Citizen appears to me to retain more luminosity. Easily readable in the early morning hours. Becaue in the dark the lume is not powered, brightness diminishes with the duration in the dark. In tritiun tubes, lume is constantly powered (by the radioactive decay of tritium), so they constantly glow in the dark.
