Linus essentially sent billets an email asking for a quote, and "if they are good, i'm good" on the price, i don't know how people can extrapolate a phantom timeline and say linus lied. Some people just wanna watch it all burn. As for Linus' response to this post, yes it is bad, it is also unfiltered, he got burned for transparency.
