My logic being that if zombies are attracted to player creations, then I should obscure the view of the barricade from the outside with a sheet. I haven’t really tested it, but I can’t remember the last time I had to replace a window barricade since I started doing this.

You need to put a window inside then you can barricade it. I find it odd that a Lv3 wooden wall is 250 hp but a wooden window with a metal sheet on each side is 10,000 HP! It literally makes more sense for your ground floor to be all barricaded windows just so your walls don't crumple like paper!
