I made 2 passes at scheids with a broken crank. Oil pressure was fine, you couldnt hardly here anything, and it ran pretty smooth. It still made a 7.1 @96mph pass in the 1/8th with one cp3 cause it wouldnt keep the belt on cause the balancer was wobbling, it would throw it when it shifted to 2nd.

A engineer just happen to be there (for another vehicle at the shop) when I pulled the pan off.Well, we about beat the crank out of the block, but haven't broke one yet. Started out as a well used LB7, built and ran a full year at 900-1200HP and re-built it this month. Same crank is back in the engine for another season, we'll see.

Yeah, it's a 3500 and the customer told us afterwards he put the parts on for his towing and fuel mileage. It's just shit luck like all the other cranks that have broken in the past. This one looks to have broken at the back though, because I can rotate the flywheel about 1" without turning the engine
