Glock 17 slide crack. I was putting my training Gen 3 17 that I use as a training gun back in the safe when I noticed a crack in the slide. This is a Frankenstein gun that I assembled with an OEM slide on a LE trade in frame that I got from a buddy. This is a Frying pan finished slide.The full size short with the compact Dagger slide is essentially a 19x. This Compact X slide is 17 length. Yeah, this is closer to PSA's take on the discontinued Polymer 80 PF940CL, but instead of a different frame with a G17 length rail section, they made the slide meet up with the rail section. Mine had this issue with oem Glock trigger housing and Glock trigger bar. Needed some fitting to run smooth.
