This is subjectively my opinion. I like ES better because it respects precise levels better and easier to be precise. I like NQ better because it is a thinner market and more volatile so I feel 1:3 1:4 set ups are easier to find. I regularly get 80 points on NQ with a 20 point stop. 13 points on ES with a 3 point stop isn’t happening often.

I prefer NQ because it covers so many more ticks, more scalp opportunities, stay more engaged.
