May 16, 2008 · Trace the wires from the back of the VRO to its rubber plug (electrical plug) and disconnect it. 2 - Trace the two wires from the oil tank to the engine, disconnect those two wires, then remove them and the oil tank. 3 - Mix the 50/1 oil in the proper amount with whatever quantity fuel you have. Disconnect the fuel line at the engine. Disconnect the Oil Mixing Y from the Fuel Pump and the Fuel Feed line. Plug the Fuel Feed line directly to the Fuel Pump. Disconnect the Stainless Linkage from the Throttle Shaft. Remove the two 5/16" headed screws from the Oil Pump. The screw pictured is difficult to remove. The O-ring on the Oil Pump can be reused if it is in good shape.
