The B58TU in the Supra is quite different from the B58 in the F30 340i. Doing an engine swap with the complex electronics of the B58/ZF8 is basically nonsensical, given how many different types of cars they came in and the cost of doing so. It will now have the same B58TU that's in the M340i and other new B58 models. The primary changes to improve power in the B58TU are a higher flowing fuel system and lower compression pistons. You can swap fuel pumps fairly easily, but dropping the compression isn't realistic for most of us.

The B58 is probably a much more natural transplant since that chassis already comes with it. An S55 swap would definitely be an interesting one! How long since you completed the swap? The goal here would be to have a running and driving n55 or b58 powered xdrive f31 wagon, pushing roughly around 400whp. Who want to see it done? I'm thinking it'd be easiest to swap over literally the entire wiring harness and modules from the f30 and then just add a few wires for the trunk specific things and code it in.
