It's not a set number. Just honestly depends on luck. One day I ran lost sectors 5 times and got to exotics. The other day I ran it 30 times to finally get one. If you can do the master one then your chances are much better in getting that drop. If you can't then be prepared to grind it if you really want that exotic.

Two of those were D2 Vanilla exotics that I've gotten dozens of rolls for just from world drops. If Bungie wants us to actually care about Legend/Master Lost Sectors anymore they either need to drastically bump the drop rates, give some BLP, or at least make it to where the only exotics that will drop are a select handful of newer exotics.
