To me, the M shred descriptions I’ve found almost sound like the defensive side of 1B4, but I doubt the Air Force would be allowing 1D7s to fill in similar positions to 1B4s. I’ve also seen M shred descriptions that list “austere environments” which sounds a bit more EW.
